Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers for families exploring the Goodyear Hub.
What is ABIDE Learning Hubs?
ABIDE is a Christ-centered learning community that partners with families to encourage academic growth, character development, meaningful relationships, and discovery of each learning leader’s God-given gifts and purpose.
Is ABIDE a school?
ABIDE functions as a learning hub and family partnership rather than replacing parents as the primary educational decision-makers. Families remain responsible for legal educational requirements and recordkeeping unless a different arrangement is expressly made in writing.
Do families have to be Christians?
Families are not required to belong to a particular church or denomination. They should understand that prayer, Scripture, worship, biblical principles, and faith-based discussion are normal parts of participation.
What ages do you serve?
Age groups and placement may vary by program year and available staffing. Contact ABIDE with your learning leader’s age and grade level for current information.
What curriculum do you use?
ABIDE uses a range of age-appropriate resources rather than relying exclusively on one publisher. Instruction is selected around educational goals, biblical worldview, learner needs, and meaningful integration across subjects.
What does tuition cover?
Current quarterly tuition is $1,497 and covers participation with the three educational partners during scheduled hub programming, along with the support described during enrollment. Individualized services may carry additional costs.
Do learning leaders have to attend all three days?
No. Families may choose one, two, or three days per week, subject to current availability and placement.
What if my child learns differently?
ABIDE welcomes conversations about learning differences, accommodations, health needs, and support strategies. ABIDE is not a therapeutic or special education provider and cannot guarantee one-to-one staffing or specialized services.
Will photographs be taken?
Sometimes. Families choose specific media and student-work permissions during enrollment and may update those choices by contacting ABIDE.
Will learning leaders use technology or artificial intelligence?
Technology may be used as one educational tool among many. Instructor-guided AI activities may be offered to teach critical thinking, research, creativity, ethics, and responsible digital citizenship. Parents select permissions during enrollment.
Can ABIDE change its policies?
Yes. As a growing organization, ABIDE may refine procedures such as arrival, dismissal, communication, safety, scheduling, and volunteer practices. Significant changes will be communicated as early as practical.
Does submitting an application guarantee admission?
No. Enrollment depends on available space, program fit, and ABIDE’s ability to safely and appropriately serve the learning leader and the broader community.
How do I begin?
Submit an inquiry through the Connect page. ABIDE will respond with current availability and appropriate next steps.
